Of COURSE I dismounted, unless by “dismounted” you mean “got off my bike and walked it.”

I believe that people are friendly to you. I think it’s me that’s the problem, not the passersby! My friends say I’m an “overly enthusiastic” waver.

I’ve been on that section – I’ll bet you didn’t dismount, did you?

Also, I don’t know about waving, but people on the canal generally make eye contact and say “hello” or nod when I pass, if I say something first.
