The company's Web site is not particularly functional. I ended up calling them at 800-999-8277. Once I did that, the ordering took just a few minutes and was very pleasant. Enjoy!

Hey, Jason...I'd love to buy some powergrips...I went to the link and it looks like they don't sell them. Any recommendations?

p.s. I just got a great book in the mail called "Cycling the Erie Canal" with very detailed maps for each segment of the canal, including the surrounding roads and area attraction. You can find it at www.ptny.org.

I have a monthly social gathering at the mall with friends. I don't usually buy anything from them except for the smallest cup I can find for free Mountain Dew Refills and the occasional food court grindage. 2 places in there sell some relatively good Japanese Teriyaki and Thai food.

Actually, someone thought my wireless-enabled warcycle was cool and left me an anonymous $10 gift card sitting on top of that beige boxy thing on the rear rack... I have no idea who would have done it.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for being part of RocBike.com! Got some good cycling stories to share? Send 'em to me via the CONTACT page.

As for going to the mall, I got off the Canalway Trail at Marsh Rd. in Perinton, then took Rte. 96 the rest of the way. It's 13.5 miles of fun, followed by 1.5 miles of defying death at every step.

Hey Jason!

Great blog! I subscribed a few days back and love reading it.

Much like you stated, I also opt for the chance to bike everywhere rather than drive (also helps not owning a car). Along with that, I frequently ride on the canalway trail. So my question is: Where does one get off to get to the mall? I don't see myself going there anytime soon, but it seems like it'd be a nice ride and sometimes I enjoy having a destination.

Take care!
