i went to art school with a fellow named shaun deller who randomly moved to portland to start a custom recycled clothing buisness. it got to corporate, he split to make recycled cycling caps.
he got big enough to hire 3 people full time at a living wage, and now basically just personally makes the custom caps and new designs. anyway, he's anouther good cap maker worth owning a hat from, esp cause most hat are wool, and he makes a great ear flap hat. also, he takes trades, ie if you have some good tires, or something...

anyway, check it out: http://www.shaundeller.com/

he's also a fantastic outdoorsman, and he'll be on the october 20th ride, if you can make that. i'm sure we'll be eating all sorts of shrubs and pine cones...
