The Xtracycle is being assembled… (Comments: 1)

Just a few minutes ago, I dropped off the Xtracycle at Full Moon Vista. While there, I met Scott, the owner. He complimented the site, particularly the argyle and the layout. What can I say? I’m nothing if not a fashionista! And luckily Adam was able to turn my grandpa-esque fashion sense into a lovely Web design.
I also ran into Bruce from Scenic Route, and got to see his Portland up close. What a beauty!
Shana was also there, in between classes. She joked that she “knew I was coming” from reading RocBike.com.
Everyone was interested in the Xtracycle. We gathered around and paged through the manual a bit. Folks seemed to think it was pretty hip. And who am I to disagree?
I believe I shall name the new creation The Packet Boat, because it was funded by freelance writing for The Island Packet newspaper on Hilton Head Island. (My jazz writing and my jazz show are at The Jazz Session.)
The bike will be ready tomorrow. Pictures are on the way!
Also: Jack, Adam and I are going to take a shot at recording the first episode of The Rocbike Review podcast tonight. Stay tuned!
