Clover Street is an officially designated and signed Bike Route (and an excellent ride). This makes PAB's Pittsford store the only bike shop in Monroe County that's on a Bike Route. (Nearby Towpath Bike Shop is the only one on a Bike Path.) In any event, I too have found Park Ave Bike's selection of soft goods to be one of the better lines in Rochester. The Cannondale Windfront gloves I got there last year were great cold season gloves. Other stores didn't even stock winter gear.
