I wish they’d put a bike lane on Main Street downtown. Whenever the rightmost lane is a bus-only lane, they should do something to accommodate cyclists. Everywhere else, I’m happy to ride in the regular lane.

Why was the one guy trying to squeeze past a car with out enough room? Why put a blatantly stupid comment like that in what was otherwise a pro-biking article?

Also, I hope the bike lanes don’t happen, I’d rather ride the lane.

I will take some "Sharrows" right now please. Not everybody likes them, but I like the message they send to other road users, and they're very quick and inexpensive to implement. I'm in Chicago now I see them all over, and I get jealous. I've also seen some very dangerous looking door zone bike lanes. And tons of cyclists.

wow, I kept reading about this happening in other towns, didn’t think it could actually happen in Rochester. Let’s hope this “bicycle enhancement program” goes off well, and not like some other cities’ bungled attempts.
