Sustainability Day
(I can’t help but notice that not only is RocBike.com not listed on this poster, but the poster contains NO argyle whatsoever!)

RocBike.com at an institution of higher learning? Strange, but true!

Come on down to learn about what YOU can do to make the world a little better. And come see the Packet Boat (Xtracycle)! Heck, if the room is large enough, come RIDE the Packet Boat!

Save Money and the Planet at DCC’s Sustainability Day!

Reduce your RG&E bill! Recycle everything you can! Buy healthy, local fruits and veggies for dinner! Wake up to fair trade with some coffee! Save money and get a workout by bicycling! Save money on gas by improving your car’s fuel efficiency!

Don’t know how or where to start? How about DCC’s celebration of National Campus Sustainability Day on Monday, October 29, from 12-1, where you’ll find a campus and community fair, located in the Fourth Floor Atrium, focusing on sustainability in the areas of:

  • Energy
  • Transportation
  • Recycling
  • Food

The following organizations will be represented: RG&E, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, STEP Program at MCC, Rochester Bicycling Club, RocBike.com, Applied Technology Center, Rochester Department of Environmental Conservation, Abundance Co-operative Market, Coffee Connection, and South Wedge Farmers Market.

(Please note that the Damon City Campus is in the Sibley Building at 228 E. Main St., Rochester.)
