Fritz from Cyclelicious came up with the “baiku” concept — a haiku about bikes. Here’s one I wrote about tonight’s Bike Or Treat cruise.

I can’t claim credit for the “baiku” idea — I’m pretty sure I first saw it on the ICEBIKE list, and the art form undoubtably existed before that.
I love your haiku — it’s so perfect. But 70 degrees in Rochester on Halloween, wow! You’re supposed to be in the 40s now, aren’t you?

I’ve been trick-or-treating in the snow, so 70 degrees is beyond bizarre. I think it was like this last year, too.
As I’ve mentioned on this site before, being a cyclist means hating global warming … but liking it warm. Oh, the humanity!
