I live in the Highland Park Neighborhood, but I commute through Swillburg and the Park Avenue Neighborhood.

Swillburg used to be the site of quite a few pig farms, hence the name. Now it’s a lovely neighborhood with a very active neighborhood association led by the remarkable David Chappius. The neighborhood has a number of community gardens, a park with a beautiful new gazebo, new street signs and house numbers, public art and a lot more. Here are some photos I took today on my way back to the office after eating lunch at home. Enjoy!
