I highly recomend the Bontrager Hardcase tires. I've never had a flat on mine, and I've only seen one person flat on theirs, and it was from a sharp piece of glass. I've finished rides only to find debris completely embedded in the rubber, but not making it past the inner kevlar casing. In fact I know a guy who has crossed the country twice on them with out a single flat. That said, I don't typically race on them, but they are great for spring riding. FWIW, I run 23 mm wide.
