I&#039;ve worked out a mostly sidewalk and path  route for my work commute.  It also includes shortcuts. 

I don&#039;t see anything wrong with doing that.  As long as the sidewalks aren&#039;t crowded (they&#039;re virtually empty), there&#039;s no reason not to use them.</description>
