Tanya's story makes me think about the controversial matter of bike registration and other means of tracking stolen bikes, e.g. by serial number. Does anybody out there know what's available to Rochesterians? I remember registering my bike many years ago with the police dept. in Niagara Falls; I even got a ca. 4"x4" black-and-white metal license plate that hung under the seat. Cool! Or so I thought at the time.
