So to many the spandex-clad grandpa on his saturday morning club ride isn't any different than his PBR-swilling, "fixie"-riding granddaughter. Whether or not you care what your "reputation" as a cyclist is is another matter entirely. If your riding isn't endangering me, i couldn't give two turds. Some people (like the fat guy in the article) just feel a need to get worked up at people, even when they exit their cars. Well, like it or not, most motorists see cyclists as one big group.
