I was up in our HR office helping them with their website the other day. I asked them about the Bike Commuter Tax Benefit & they told me that they really didn’t know how they would go about implementing it so they weren’t planning to do anything. If anyone knows of other businesses that are planning on implementing it, it would be great if they could share their plans so less cutting edge workplaces have some model to follow.

Or it means “The money it would cost to handle the red tape, add complexities to the internal bureaucracy, handle the paperwork, and issue the payments would far outweigh the tax savings; it would be cheaper just to give you $20 a month.”
Try asking your boss for a $240 per year raise instead.
I suspect the only situation in which an employer will take part in this is where they already offer benefits for commuting and parking under the program that the new law affects.
