I would like to know who is your father, isn't his my father brother, because this surname in Poland is very rare, I know, that someone of brother of my father emigrated to USA. The only sidewalks that are clear are hospitals. In Albany, some blocks are two inches of uneven ice. And it took them a week to clear the corners, where the sidewalks meet the crosswalks. People have been climbing over two foot banks. I'm able-bodied and it's been challenging. To walk. The simplest form of transportation. Because people are too effing lazy to clear their sidewalks. But why would they? They don't walk, they don't care about people who do walk. Rant rant rant rant rant. Riding in this morning I saw that a lot of streets lose two to three FEET to snowbanks on the curbs. Spring is coming. It will happen sooner than getting City Hall to clear snow and ice. I try to convey this to the rare motorist who yells at me for riding a bicycle in icy conditions. If they only knew how much more well-suited my machine was for the winter streets!
